Additional Information for Context
- ClaimVantage’s product is built on the Salesforce.com (SFDC) Lightning platform. The company (in line with SFDC) does 3 product releases a year.
- Key new features and functionality are added for each release – some based on user feedback and some based on innovation / new ideas / product differentiation.
- A big driver of new features are changes to regulations in the industry, which in the case of the USA, can be different across the 50 States.
- ClaimVantage looks for output / deliverables-oriented engineers and architects. This remains the case for roles that include architecture / design responsibilities.
- An engineer / architect can be successful in the role, without specific Salesforce (Lightning) development experience, but there will be the requirement to quickly develop that capability.
- Specifically in the case of an Architect / Principal Engineer’s role, the expectation is that they will be hands-on as well as provide direction, high level thinking and managerial input. The hands-on approach is an important part of the company’s culture.
- The company promotes ownership of work, but especially outcomes and independent thinking while getting along with the team.
- In terms of the product roadmap, ClaimVantage is developing more functionality that supports business effectiveness through automation and decision-making tools and and secures customer loyalty through excellent UX.
- In the SFDC world, the Lightning Web Component is becoming a key and staple part of the technical platform for development. In time, the SFDC platform plans to allow in other stacks as Salesforce expands it footprint into the core IT / digital infrastructure.
